About Madeleine
I have been studying language teaching for three years now at Temple University. I have observed at multiple establishments and am currently in my semester of methods and practicum courses. In France last semester, I had the incredible opportunity to teach English to French classes twice a week. In these sessions, I gained invaluable experience that I will take with me into our tutoring sessions. I am still in contact with many students as well, which could be an interested idea to learn French by skyping one of the students there! Studying with me, learning French will be a wonderful experience, and the possibilities for fun are endless!

I have always had a passion for language arts. I excel in English courses throughout my grade-school, middle school, and high school experiences. In 8th grade I began studying French. I have now been studying the language for 7.5 years. I am a secondary education and French double-major at Temple University. I will be certified to teach K-12 students when I graduate next spring. For my fall 2016 semester, I lived in Nantes, France in order to better my skills with the language. I am an energetic teacher-- I love getting to know my students and working with their interests. This is makes learning a new language more fun because the student has room to grow in their personal hobbies while learning a new language. I am available for group lessons if you and your family and/or friends wish to learn. I am looking forward to helping anyone with their language skills be it learning French, learning English as a second language, practicing conversation in either language, reducing accents, etc.
