About Daniel
Hi, my name is Daniel Chen, and I am a freshman in high school. As a straight A student in a Christian school and an award winner of Algebra 1 honors, I would like to teach mathematics to middle schoolers and below. Why pick a kid as a tutor? Well normally kids can get intimidated when trying to learn from an adult, but they can feel comfortable talking to someone their age or a little older than them. To add, not all adults remember what they learned during their younger years. But since I am a freshman, the knowledge is still fresh and updated in my head. I hope to use the income I get from tutoring to support my upcoming missionary trips. Thank you for your support.

My teaching methods are simple and practical. I will examine/help what my student is struggling with, and I try to find the best way to increase their grades and help them understand what they are learning. I also hope to build a strong learning foundation for their future math. After they understand, I will give them practice problems to further increase their understanding. These lessons are for Middle schoolers and under. I have taught multiple friends, and their grades have improved significantly.
