About Lydia
I have been teaching primary education for over three years, with further teaching experience before that in a foreign language school abroad. I have experience both as a class teacher (in year 2 and 3), as a supply teacher (spanning all ages from EYFS to year 6), and as a specialist music teacher.

I am a cheery, proactive teacher who will tailor lessons to my students’ needs, likes and dislikes. I like to create structured lessons that will prepare students for the tasks required of them (both within the lesson and long term), checking their understanding throughout the lesson and giving opportunities to apply new knowledge and ask questions. I take pride in encouraging students to reach their potential through cultivating a positive attitude to their learning, not fearing mistakes but becoming a stronger learner by talking through the tricky bits and facing them head on.
