About Anna
I am a highly committed, friendly and supportive History tutor. I am have a History PhD from the University of Edinburgh and hold a Masters with Distinction and first-class degree in History. I have a teaching accreditation through Advance HE (Higher Education Academy) and hold a professional tutoring qualification through Tutoring Standards.
I have been a History tutor for the past five years, both privately and at the University of Edinburgh. My previous students have gone on to achieve A*s at A-level and first-class marks in undergraduate dissertations.
I find tutoring enormously rewarding and love to see my students develop their historical skills and interests.

I am highly experienced in teaching History to secondary school, undergraduate and postgraduate students. I have taught History at the University of Oxford, University of Edinburgh and for top London tutoring agencies. I have a teaching accreditation with Advance HE (Higher Education Academy) as an Associate Fellow.
My approach to teaching is supportive and collaborative. I help students to identify areas that they want to work on and develop creative strategies to strengthen their historical skills. Typical lessons are 1 hour or longer.
Previous clients have praised my 'extremely helpful feedback' on academic writing and my 'professional and friendly' approach.
