Having been taught by him for 6 years, I have seen that Gavin shows all the qualities of a great teacher - patient, eager for you as the pupil to learn, supportive and frankly is just good at explicitly telling you the best way to answer any question! He is very flexible, and will tailor his teaching method to how you are as a person, and how you best learn.

Gavin is a highly proficient mathematician having gained a Master's degree in Structural engineering and Architecture. At school Gavin assisted younger pupils with their math's as part of a mentoring process. He is extremely friendly, helpful and patient and this comes through in everything he does, besides his great sense of humour. As a practising Christian Gavin is also trustworthy. Gavin is also a proficient musician having passed grade 8 on both the piano and violin. He took violin grade 8 and the practical piano playing for 'A' level music on the same morning and passed both with flying colours so he is able to cope with stress. Additionally he taught his younger brother to play the piano, and he is now studying at Cambridge University with an organ scholarship.
