About Leanne
I am an analytical, flexible PhD graduate with a passion for teaching. Throughout my academic career, I successfully
combined my studies, research work and extra teaching duties; I am a self-motivated and organised.
Prior to my PhD, I worked for three years in industry - working at a mining company doing research and development and at a recycling company called The Ocean Cleanup.
My passion is teaching and I hope to one day become a lecturer in Chemistry.

My teaching style is deliberate and personal; I don't believe two people are the same and require the same cookie-cut tutorials.
I have lectured at first-year chemistry level but prefer a one-on-one approach. I am available for online or in-person tutor sessions and will spend the first meeting finding out from you what you would like to get out of our time together.
Science education is all about problem solving and I aim to teach you thinking skills that can be applied to your other studies.
