About Emily
I have been an avid guitar player for 9 years, focusing on acoustic folk and pop styles. I started teaching friends for fun and discovered I had a knack for breaking things down for absolute beginners. I've now been formally teaching beginner guitar for 2 years and find immense joy in helping my students experience that "aha!" moment when they play their first full song.
