About Owen
I am a Biology tutor with over 2 years of experience and a MSc in Molecular Genetics. My studies have led me to focus strongly on neurobiology and brain science. Understanding how the brain works is one of the most exciting areas of biology.
In my lessons, I explain how neurons communicate and how synapses transmit signals. These interactions allow the brain to coordinate thoughts, movements, and emotions.
Students also explore sensory systems and memory processes. They learn how the brain interprets signals from the environment and stores information.
I focus on explaining complex neural pathways clearly. Breaking down these systems helps students understand the structure and function of the nervous system.
I have worked with psychology students, aspiring neurologists, and learners interested in neuroscience. Helping them understand brain function is always rewarding.

My teaching methodology in Biology focuses on exploring life at the molecular and cellular level. I believe understanding cells is the key to understanding all biological systems. Each lesson builds knowledge step by step.
