About Miruna
Hi! I`m a 26 year-old experienced tutor based in SE London, with a BA and MA in English from Cambridge University. I`m friendly and patient, and aim to get my students to genuinely enjoy what we work on. I think, regardless of age and level, the key to doing better is being passionate about what you do. I also prefer to teach things logically, making sure everything is broken down into understandable pieces that will then fit back together nicely.
I love teaching, and have experience with everything from one-to-one tutoring, to teaching groups of over 100 people and doing webinars and Skype sessions.
I`m happy to teach English to students from GCSE to degree level; one of my students was recently admitted to Oxbridge to study English and said she "couldn't have done it without me". I also have experience teaching Chemistry, but only up to (and including) A levels.
I have a full DBS check.

Miruna is an excellent tutor. When I started University I found myself quickly overwhelmed by the step up that I had to make from A Level. Miruna was a very calming presence throughout that difficult time. She has a real talent for explaining complicated material in digestible chunks. She’s also a fantastic proof reader and has a sophisticated sense of what an English essay should look like. She was always punctual and quick to respond to any emails/ messages.
