About Davis

Hi! I’m Davis, a fourth-year Bachelor of Management student at Dalhousie University with a strong background in leadership, communication, and professional development.

I currently serve as President of the Dalhousie Management Society (DMS), where I lead a team of over 40 students and help organize events, mentorship opportunities, and initiatives that support student success. Through this experience, I’ve developed strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for helping others learn and grow.

My professional experience includes working in commercial banking at TD and as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the Waegwoltic Club. These roles have strengthened my patience, problem-solving abilities, and ability to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds.

I believe that confidence plays a huge role in academic success. My goal as a tutor is to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing new skills, and reaching their full potential.

I’m excited to help younger students build a strong foundation in English while making learning something they can enjoy!

My goal is to make learning English a positive and enjoyable experience for every student! I offer personalized online tutoring for elementary and middle school students who want to improve their reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills.

I understand that every child learns differently, so I aim to adapt each lesson to their individual needs, learning pace, and goals. Whether your child needs help with homework, preparing for a test, improving their writing, or building confidence in the classroom, I’m here to help!

My lessons focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I want students to leave each session feeling more confident in their abilities and excited about their progress!
