About Alison
Hello, I'm Alison. I have been teaching French from Nursery to GCSE level for many years, as well as tutoring online and in person. I have a BA (Hons) degree in French and have spent time in France studying. My teaching style is friendly and encouraging; I pride myself on being able to establish good relationships with students so that they get the most out of the sessions and ultimately achieve their potential. I have good knowledge of the GCSE syllabus and exam requirements for each exam board, ensuring rigorous coverage of grammar, vocabulary and tasks for each language skill. I use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including authentic listening materials, video, and lots of conversation in the target language. I try to appeal to the interests and learning style of my students as much as possible.
