About Oliver
I have been tutoring Maths and Physics since October 2018, but I have been helping friends and family for much longer. Before starting tutoring as a job I had experience of working through mathematical problems with other people at university. Doing this helped me to further understand the material myself so throughout my undergraduate degree, so benefits both parties, I have taught friends different concepts when they were struggling. My younger sister also studied Maths at university so during exam times I would help her with any problems she had.
I now work part time as a tutor, and part time as a note-taker for disabled students at university. This is a rewarding job and also allows me to study along with the student. I am currently working with a Physics student so am learning every day.

Each student is different and I am able to look at a problem in many different ways to find the right approach for each student, I have experience with over 20 students at varying levels, and have always been able to find the right words to get an idea across to them.
I like to allow the student to figure things out for themselves wherever possible, by guiding them in the right direction and seeing how their inquisitive mind words.
