About Molly
I am currently on track to receive a First in my history degree from the University of Bristol. I have A-levels in English Literature, Theatre Studies and History and I have background in helping children who struggle in confidence learn to read and broaden their vocabulary.

My teaching is very much based on the needs and aims of the student. Each student learns differently and at a different rate, so first I will familiarise myself with the students preferred system of learning, whether that be visual, physical, logical or social.
My teaching style is very relaxed - a student could never disappoint me or appear unprepared. I like to give constructive feedback at the end of the session through bullet point form.
My methods are diverse but I particularly like to energise my students by assessing their knowledge through games such as kahoot. Each session will begin with me providing information on the mark scheme, and/or general knowledge. Then I’ll ask them to read a short text, listen to a short lecture or video on the subject and ask how this relates to their chosen topic. The rest of the session will be for the student to discuss whatever topic they want.
Also, if I am tutoring an individual in a subject that involves a significant degree of memory work, I can offer the opportunity to lead a lightning round drill frequently on particular points to ensure they retain important facts and information.
I will be available to make revision videos and mind maps of topics, coursework and exam answers upon request.
