About Jodie

I have been giving English lessons to groups and individuals for years, working with high schoolers, young children, and mature adults. I love speaking with people and hearing them improve! :) I have had students pass exams that they previously failed under my guidance which was wonderful! I love talking about whatever topics are of interest to you. I am very passionate about languages and people usually feel comfortable talking to me. :) I hope you will be in touch! I also can help with anything you need to write as I have always excelled in English. Thank you!

About the lesson

With clients I listen to what is important for them. Usually people like me to correct errors in speaking, to have someone to practice with, and to have help with work or with school.
I have also listened to people read a book aloud so that I can help with their pronunciation.
We can also have a conversation and take it from there.

I know Jodie would be an excellent teacher and anyone who has the pleasure of working with her is quite lucky. We met through family and I've known Jodie for about 7 years now and she has always been kind, nurturing, positive and never stops smiling. She has incredible patience and loves to help people. She's welcoming and very easy to talk to. She's a great listener and is very dedicated to her passions. I'd highly recommend her for any teaching position and know that she will shine through any and all opportunities. -Nicole
