I tutored 3 first year students in Biology and they all went up at least a grade!
I got straight As in Genetics, first year Biology, and every physiology and pathophysiology course I took in University.I am confident with the course material and able to tailor it to fit the student's learning style.

I know some people are visual learners whereas others learn better by listening and I believe in presenting information however the student finds easiest to retain.
I spend the first 10 minutes recapping previous lessons, the next 40 minutes covering new content, and the last 10 minutes checking understanding of the new content using a question-oriented approach.
