About Emily
I am a friendly and experienced primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience working across a range of primary age groups. I am passionate about helping children feel confident, supported and happy in their learning, and I always aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where children can thrive at their own pace.
I have played piano since I was 5 years old and reached Grade 6 when I turned 17. I now enjoy playing piano for pleasure, as well as teaching children starter piano lessons. I love the idea of introducing young children to the world of music!
Outside of teaching, I love spending time being creative through painting, playing the piano and sewing. I enjoy bringing creativity and positivity into my lessons wherever possible. My happy place is outdoors in the garden with my dog, or exploring nature and going on adventures outside.

My lessons are designed to be fun, supportive and engaging for young beginners. I aim to help children build confidence, enjoy music and develop their skills at their own pace in a calm and encouraging environment. Lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests, using creative activities and interactive learning to keep children motivated and excited about playing piano.
Lessons are between 30-45 minutes for primary aged children at a rate of £20 per session.
