About Animesh
I am first and fore-most a student. A post-16 student with a set of 12 GCSEs ready to share my experience and knowledge with you.
I teach primarily GCSE Chemistry, however I can also teach English Lang. and Lit. along with Biology and Physics and Maths but to a lesser extent. My lessons are aimed at students from Year 9-11, however I can also accept those in Year 7-8 looking to get a head start.
My teaching style is primarily focused on visual learning with a focus on using diagrams and drawings to express idea, but note taking is an important focus included in my lessons.
The first lesson will be an assessment of where the student is in their curriculum along with an overview of the syllabus. This will assist in designing the overall roadmap for the student and my plans for the direction of teaching I will take. I will be following closely with the student's syllabus and exam board in order to be more precise and accurate with the content of my lessons. If time permits, then an 'official lesson' can be done or partially completed.
A typical lesson will start with a brief recap of the previous lesson to consolidate and reinforce knowledge. Then, the main body of the lesson, will be comprised of going through with the students coursework in relation to their lessons, addressing any questions the student may have. If the student has successfully completed the main body of the lesson, then as a plenary future topics and lessons can be discussed, to give a head start.
