About Lucy
I am extremely passionate about sharing my love for biology and not letting tricky concepts get in the way of progressing students' learning. I studied all 3 sciences at A-level and my first degree was in Biomedical Sciences where I realised the incredible world of academic science and became very excited to learn about medical advances. I then completed a masters in Physician Associate Studies and worked clinically for 4.5 years, treating patients, attending teaching sessions and teaching students myself both in classes and on the hospital wards.
Continuing my love for education I am now studying for another masters in Infectious Diseases in which I am writing essays, taking tests and revising for exams, so can very much empathise with school exam pressures and anxieties!
Alongside this, I work as a medical writer, creating content for patient information apps and videos. This requires simplifying medical information into content which is easy to understand and appropriate for specified age groups.
I am very excited to support students in a relaxed and engaging way, finding alternative and reassuring ways to progress learning and understanding.

Offering online student focused classes, helping break down tricky scientific concepts. Passionate about helping students enjoy their learning and realise their interest and potential, ultimately progressing their grades.
30 minutes (£21) / 45 minutes (£24) / 60 minutes (£30)
Previous experience teaching physician associate students in classes and clinical settings. Sessions aimed at GCSE and A-level Biology but also happy to assist with biology queries across all school years.
