I have a background working in psychological services and currently work in research. I studied a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences. I have experience working with children and young people from various age and ability groups.

I use evidence based teaching methods which have proven to be the most effective. These primarily include the use of active recall and spaced repetition. I also take a highly organised approaches where study schedules are made collaboratively to ensure all relevant study material is covered within a reasonable timeframe - this is key to ensuring students remain on track while being assured that once they have done their work they can rest and take time off to look after their own well-being.
