About Zara
As a math tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I’ve helped students worldwide prepare for IB and A-Level exams. My lessons focus on making complex ideas simple through conceptual understanding. I teach students to see mathematics as a system of logic rather than memorized rules. By combining diverse problem-solving techniques and structured past paper practice, I help students build solid foundations and exam confidence. Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics are my key strengths. I use real-world applications to bring theory to life. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to suit individual needs. My approach to teaching math is simple — make it engaging, make it personal, and make it meaningful. I use a nurturing, individualized style that helps every student feel supported. I show students that math is everywhere — in patterns, games, and decisions. This approach helps both analytical and creative thinkers thrive. I work closely with Parent Supporters to keep motivation high and progress steady. Gamers especially enjoy discovering how their strategies mirror mathematical reasoning. I design each session to inspire curiosity and confidence. Questions are encouraged, and mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. My goal is to make math both understandable and enjoyable. Together, we build the mindset needed to excel and appreciate the fun side of learning.
