About Keiryn
I'm Keiryn, a teacher and lifelong learner at heart. I’ve spent my career helping students find their voice through writing, guiding them through classic literature, and showing them how language opens doors. From high school classrooms to university seminars, I’ve always loved the work of teaching—planning thoughtfully, teaching with care, and helping students grow. I thrive on clarity and creativity. Whether sketching out a writing workshop, tutoring a student through their essay, or building out a whole new course from scratch, I’m always asking: What will actually help students learn? What will make this meaningful? Teaching has never been just a job for me. It’s a craft, and I’ve spent years honing it. I work hard, I think big, and I care deeply about doing it well.

I help middle and high school students become stronger, more confident writers. My sessions focus on narrative and nonfiction writing, beginning with a “writing nudge” to spark ideas and ease students into the work. From there, we move into targeted instruction or feedback based on the student’s current writing project or specific goals. Lessons are responsive and flexible, always building from what students bring while guiding them toward growth. I center trust and growth through clear thinking. Students don’t just improve their writing. They learn how to approach it with purpose and confidence.
