About Swastika
Hello! I’m Swastika Mukherjee, a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine love for teaching. I’m currently pursuing a triple major in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Genetics at REVA University, maintaining a CGPA of 8.3. I scored above 90% in both ICSE and ISC exams in Biology and English, which reflects not just my subject knowledge but also my consistent effort and discipline. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring juniors and being relied upon by professors to guide them something I take great pride in. My teaching style is student-friendly, patient, and focused on understanding rather than memorization. I aim to build a comfortable space where students are not afraid to ask questions and can grow at their own pace. I’ve also volunteered with the school Interact Club to teach English to underprivileged children, which taught me the value of empathy, simplicity, and creative teaching methods. As a teacher, I focus on making learning enjoyable, clear, and meaningful. I believe that students understand better when concepts are broken down into simple explanations rather than being rushed through. My classes are concept-based and interactive, encouraging curiosity and questions. I begin each session with a quick recap, followed by an in-depth explanation of new topics using real-life examples, visuals, and analogies. I often include quizzes or concept checks to ensure clarity. I teach school children (ICSE/CBSE/State boards) and college students who need help in Biotechnology, Biology, EVS, and English. My strength lies in making difficult topics memorable and helping students build confidence in their learning without relying on rote memorization. I am also known for being approachable and patient, which makes my students feel comfortable asking questions. Having mentored juniors at my university and volunteered with underprivileged kids, I know how to adapt my teaching to various levels of understanding. My goal is to help students grasp the 'why' behind every concept so that they retain knowledge long-term and enjoy the learning process.
