About Becca
I’m Becca, an experienced Mathematics and STEM educator with a passion for helping students understand not just what to do, but why it works. As a 2E STEM Specialist, I particularly enjoy working with students whose abilities, confidence, or academic performance don’t always tell the whole story.
I’ve worked with learners across a wide range of ages, abilities, and curricula, and I take time to understand each student as an individual. Some students need a quick, focused explanation; others need to slow down, unpack the concept, and build genuine mastery.
My sessions are personalized, encouraging, and appropriately challenging. I use diagnostic questioning to identify gaps, misconceptions, and strengths, then adapt my approach accordingly. I also value communication with parents and welcome their insight so that we can work together toward meaningful academic progress and greater independence.

My Mathematics lessons are personalized to each student’s level, learning profile, goals, and academic needs. As a 2E STEM Specialist, I take a diagnostic approach to identify strengths, learning gaps, and the strategies that will help each learner make meaningful progress.
I offer lessons in person in Boulder Creek or online, depending on the student’s needs and location.
Before beginning regular lessons, I offer a complimentary 15-minute discovery call to understand the student’s goals, discuss current challenges, and determine the most appropriate tutoring approach. This allows us to begin ongoing sessions with a clear direction and purpose, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
