About Teemo

Hi, I’m Teemo, a native Mandarin speaker currently pursuing an MBA at Brock University in Canada. I have one year of experience as an IELTS teaching assistant and an IELTS overall score of 7.0.
As a language learner myself, I understand how challenging speaking can feel. I aim to create a friendly space where you can ask questions, practice without pressure, and build confidence step by step. I can explain in English whenever you need support.

About the lesson

My lessons are for beginners and learners who want to practise everyday Mandarin. We’ll build a foundation in pinyin and tones, then use useful phrases in situations such as introductions, ordering food, and making plans.
A typical lesson includes a quick review, a short explanation, guided speaking practice, and pronunciation feedback. I can explain in English and break difficult sounds into manageable steps. Lessons follow your goals and pace, with a few practical phrases to practise between sessions.
