About Mathene

Hello! I’m Mathene, and I’m excited to help you build confidence in English.

I am a dedicated English teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, majoring in English Language and Literature, and I am TEFL/TESOL certified. I also have over 8 years of teaching experience, helping students improve their speaking skills, pronunciation, and overall confidence when communicating in English.

My teaching approach focuses on real communication and practical language use. I believe that students learn best when lessons are interactive, supportive, and focused on speaking. I create a comfortable environment where you can practice English without fear of making mistakes. Every lesson is designed to help you gradually build fluency and confidence.

During our lessons, you can expect:

Engaging conversations about everyday topics

Vocabulary and expressions used in real-life situations

Pronunciation guidance to help you speak more clearly

Simple explanations of grammar when needed

My lessons are mainly aimed at beginner to intermediate learners (A1–B1) who want to improve their everyday communication skills. I particularly enjoy helping students who feel shy or unsure about speaking English, and I focus on helping them become more comfortable expressing themselves.

I teach in English and make sure my explanations are clear, patient, and easy to understand.

Learning a language takes time, but with the right support and regular practice, you can make great progress. I would be happy to guide you on your journey to speaking English more confidently and naturally.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Mathene — your supportive English teacher who helps shy learners become confident speakers.

Many students understand English but feel nervous when it’s time to speak. If that sounds like you, you’re not alone — and I’m here to help.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, majoring in English Language and Literature, and I am TEFL/TESOL certified with over 8 years of teaching experience. During this time, I’ve helped many students improve their fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in real conversations.

My Teaching Style

My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and focused on communication. I believe students learn best when they speak often and feel comfortable making mistakes.

In our lessons we will focus on:
• Speaking naturally in everyday situations
• Improving pronunciation and clarity
• Learning useful vocabulary and expressions
• Building confidence step by step

I always adapt lessons to your goals, interests, and learning pace so that learning feels practical and enjoyable.

What Makes My Lessons Different

Most importantly, you will speak a lot and actively use English.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are ideal for:
• Beginner to intermediate students (A1–B1)
• Adults who want to improve everyday English communication
• Students who feel shy or afraid of making mistakes
• Learners who want a patient and encouraging teacher

I teach in English, and I make sure my explanations are clear, simple, and easy to follow.
