About Avni
I am an eighth grader who is currently doing Geometry in school and have completed Algebra 1 in school last year. I got A's for all four quarters for both classes. I have also already learned Algebra 2 and some of Pre-Calculus in private classes out of school. Despite my young age, I have already taken the ACT and SAT, getting a 34/36 on ACT math and 740/800 on SAT math.

My lessons are designed for middle schoolers who want support on test preparation, homework, or want to advance in math by doing Algebra 1 or Geometry.
I teach by breaking problems into simple steps and making sure students understand the “why” behind each answer instead of just memorizing formulas. A typical lesson will be learning the new concepts, working through guided examples together, and practicing independently with support when needed.
What sets me apart is that I recently (last 3-4 years) learned these topics, so I personally understand the mistakes students often make and how to explain them in a relatable way.
My goal is to create a patient and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace

I know Avni through school. Whenever I'm stuck on a problem, easy or hard, regardless, she never puts me down and calmly explains it to me. One time, I was absent from school for a while, and we had a test. Avni helped me study, and I aced the test with a perfect score.
