About Jai
After studying Engineering for 3 years and turoting part time, I realised my calling was teaching, and have since paused my degree to follow this career full-time. Since then, I've helped dozens of young men and women to attain their goals.
You'll find me to be a bit goofy, infinitely patient, and flexible in my teaching methods. I've used everything from LEGO to Skittles to illustrate a point!

Hello!
My name is Jai Grace, and I'm 25 years old.
Modern learning science shows that discourse is a better teaching vector than lecture. So, I take on a mentor's role, rather than a lecturer's. By fostering conversation, students become more engaged and focused. I encourage students to learn through making mistakes, unlearning the shame of failure that in-clasds maths teaches all students. The result is a talented, independent learner ready to tackle university head on.
With me, you'll a mentor for your child that will be with you for the entirety of your child's schooling journey. Tutoring is my career, and my passion, and I'd love to share it with you.

Details
I charge $80/hr for a reason - I'm the best in Toowoomba. You won't find anyone else with:
1) My experience. I have over 10 000 hours of *tuition* experience. Teaching a classroom is very different to a 1-on-1 environment, and I'm a master in that domain.
2) My commitment. Tutoring is my career. For me, this isn't some stop-gap side gig until graduation. In 5 years, I'll still be here for you.
3) My results. I have a track record of substantial grade improvements, which leads to much better engagement in class.
4) My technology. All my work is done on Samsung Galaxy tablets, so I can send a PDF copy of each lesson to you and your child. You'll both love how easy it is to see what we did in every past lesson.
