About Daniel
My specialization in English language serves as a great pillar of strength for my teaching skills. Throughout my tertiary studies I have been molded and shaped to become a professional teacher in order to cater educational needs for students from different age groups. Holistic approach is one of my favorite teaching approaches as I personally believe that students with different multiple intelligence need to be nurtured by all means. The teaching experience that I have acquired effective from the third year of my first degree has provided the interest to venture onto the research about face to face teaching and online learning. Recently I have also done a research on blended learning particularly focusing on enhancing speaking skills among Malaysian students. With the completion of this dissertation, I believe that it will benefit the teachers to gain insights on the effectiveness and different ways of executing teaching of English language skills through online learning. Being a freelance home tutor since the third year of my first degree has driven the passion in me to continue my career to impart the knowledge to students. Over the years, I have gained the experience in using the correct methodology to cater students from different level of learning capabilities. Academic challenges faced by students are just temporary obstacles faced by them. This is because a tutor serves a great responsibility to enhance students’ understanding and to resolve their learning barriers regardless of their age. As such, I strongly believe that my passion towards the language has always been a rewarding experience which empowers me to learn and grow every day. I am confident that I will perform well with strong determination and integrity within the scope of the job title and the duties accordingly.

As a masters degree holder in education, I have experience in being a freelance tutor since the third year of my first degree. This has driven the passion in me to continue my career to impart the knowledge to each student. I am tutoring specific subjects at every grade level through online and face to face. As a private tutor, all my lessons are based on one to one learning and small group for each tutoring session which lasts for 1.5 hours. Over the years, I have gained the experience in using the correct methodology such as learning through authentic materials, games, tackling in understanding the theories and real life examples in order to cater students from different level of learning capabilities. Academic challenges faced by students are just temporary obstacles faced by them as a tutor serves a great responsibility to enhance students’ understanding and to arrive at a good solution on their learning obstacles. Currently, I am tutoring students who are pursuing their studies from national and international schools at both primary and secondary level of education. Besides that, I am also conducting personal tutoring for adults and coaching for students who will be resitting the exam.
