About
I have only been not renewed for my teaching contract once in 22 years, and it was a budget decision because with two graduate degrees and so many years in the classroom, I became too expensive for a private school. I won a state championship as a baseball coach and have educated thousands of students from all age levels, including adults. I developed curriculum for college courses and supervised and mentored hundreds of graduate student teachers for six years here in Denver. Chances are I helped your child's teacher get their job. I have also developed and implemented archaeology programming for urban elementary schools and have experience with suburban and rural settings as well.

I make history fun and have college, high school, middle school and elementary school experience, and have an archaeology business where I utilize fun, genuine artifacts when appropriate. I've written three books that are on Amazon and am an expert with neurodiverse and accelerated students (GT, HGT, 2E). I have lots of one on one experience helping kids do well on essays, finals, projects and anything else. I can adjust to multiple learning styles and love to utilize primary sources and have a stash of genuine archaeology artifacts from almost every unit of World History.
