About Claudia
Hi my name is Claudia Tam and I'm a doctor working at a busy London Hospital. I have a passion for teaching and have been tutoring for over 9 years.
From my extensive educational experience I know first hand how important excellent mentors and teachers are. It's taken a village to get me to where I am now and I'm excited to pay it forward to the next aspirational generation.
I have received only positive feedback from ex-students and their parents with many students over achieving on their initial goals with my assistance.

Since moving to exclusively tutoring online I have found innovative and exciting ways to make remote learning fun and engaging. I ensure all my lessons are tailored to my individual students creating for each of them a bespoke individualised lesson plan. I take a goal-based approach working with the student to identify what their goals are (move up a set in a subject, get into the secondary school of their choice, get into the university fo their choice) and use this goal to focus our lessons and to drive their progress.
I use a variety of resources including online educational games and quizzes to keep the lessons light and fun.
Lesson length ranges from 1-1.5 hours but can be more or less depending on the student.
I have a BA from Cambridge University for my undergraduate degree and am currently in my 2nd year of clinical school. I have been tutoring for over 6 years since I was in sixth form and have supported many students over this time.
