About Samantha
I am a Spanish and French teacher with several years experience working in UK Secondary schools. I have a masters in Spanish, during which time I spent a year living in Chile, and a PGCE in Secondary Education. I have taught hundreds of pupils, from groups of thirty to one on one classes, and enjoyed every minute of it. Many of my pupils have gone on to study languages at the subsequent stage and all have achieved above their expected level of attainment.

I teach beginners all the way through to pupils studying for their GCSE/Standard Grade and A Level/Advanced Higher.
I am more than happy to adapt lessons to your needs but usually lessons will be structured around grasping one or two grammatical or linguistic concepts, with a focus on improving comprehension, vocabulary, fluency and confidence. I enjoy incorporating aspects of hispanic culture into each lesson wherever possible to bring the language to life. I will also try to work on each key skill (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in each lesson, and make the learning as enjoyable, engaging and active for you as I can.
