About Stephanie
Hello, thank you firstly for taking the time to read my profile. I am Steph! I qualified in 2005 from Cardiff University with a BA Hons in Primary Teaching. Since then I have had experience of teaching from EYFS to Year 6 as a Supply Teacher as well as working in two very popular Infant Schools for the past 20 years!
I am Computing Lead and passionate about the impact technology can have on children's learning. I have been Phonics Lead and have made a huge impact across my Infant School in enabling children to become confident readers and pass the Phonics Screening Check in Year 1.
I have completed the NPQML - National Professional Qualification in Middle Leadership and have been an EYFS and Year 1 Team Leader and demonstrated outstanding teaching and exceptional subject knowledge and lesson planning.
I have a 7-year-old son and understand the importance of school readiness and how to teach young people effectively to support their early reading skills.

I currently teach a class of wonderful EYFS children in a school in Bristol and love my job! I believe children learn best when lessons are fun, engaging and interactive, to really make the learning stick. I have over 20 years' experience in teaching children with a wide variety of needs, interests and strengths. My lessons are personal, differentiated and tailored to the needs of your individual child.
