About Rebecca
I am a fully qualified Teacher of English to 11-18 year olds. I have a degree in English Language and Linguistics and also a PGCE in English Education. I have been teaching in numerous secondary schools for 5 years.
I have also tutored privately for 7 years. I have helped a range of students achieve the grades they need to pursue their dream career and it's a job I absolutely love.I also recently became an AQA examiner and I mark English language GCSE exams. Due to this, I know exactly what the exam boards are looking for.

About the lesson

My teaching method is very much based around what my students need and require. I always start with a grammar or spelling task and then move onto the main task. This may be comprehension, a written exercise or some relevant reading. At the end of the session we discuss what we have done and what we will do next time.
