About Rio - Bespoke Business Tutor
I am an experienced Teacher of Business Studies/Management, (i/GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, Applied/Vocational, HND, Degree) Financial Studies, Citizenship, PSHE, Essay/Dissertation & UCAS Personal Statements. I have delivered lessons at all Levels including all Exam Boards Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, Educas, OCR, AQA, WJEC & Scottish Nationals. I am an Examiner for 3x Exam Boards Including AQA, Pearson Edexcel, Educas therefore fully aware of what the examiners look for when marking exam papers. I am an expert at coaching Study Skills having taken a course on the subject including delivering seminars specialising in revision techniques and exam timetabling for exam students in Year 11/13. I specialise in: Mentoring Anxiety Coaching, Life skills, Therapy, University Advice/Personal Statements, Careers Pathways. Personal experience advise too as I was a Business Studies student having studied from A Level to BA Hons & Post Graduate Certificate of Education. I have specialism in Finance, Marketing and HR/Personnel and also possess QTLS as a teaching qualification. I have successfully carried out Mentoring course which required working across several mainstream schools with exam students on a 121 basis to get the best out of them in terms of handling stress, increasing confidence and designing revision timetable in order to achieve goal of academic success. I have completed Football (FA) & Cricket (ECB) coaching courses enabling me to successfully coach students to a very high level both academic and pastorally.

My approach as a Bespoke Business Tutor combines academic rigour with tailored strategies to elevate each learner's potential. Alongside 20+ years of teaching experience at various educational backgrounds such as Secondary, College, Sixth Form, a University PGCE complements my BA Hons in Business Finance, forming a strong educational foundation that I draw upon daily. My core competencies in Business strategy and development are not just taught but instilled, ensuring learners not only understand but excel. I harness my expertise to demystify complex business concepts, creating an environment where success is the norm, and excellence in exam technique is my hallmark. It's more than imparting knowledge—it's about inspiring confidence and facilitating a pathway to my students' desired academic and professional destinations. I specialise in Exam technique methods as part of my lessons which is key to attaining an A*, Distinction or 9. Parents look no further a DBS cleared and on the update system Teacher who will help increase grades & confidence including entrance into preferred College/University. I am a full time Teacher (Head of Department) and professional Tutor including Examiner for Pearson Edexcel, AQA and OCR. My teaching style includes being patient, passionate, energised and providing academic expertise.
