About Emily
I am a fully qualified teacher in Scotland, with 4 years of experience working in state and private schools, including the independent school of the decade. I have presented candidates at both National 5 and Higher level for History and Modern Studies, and supported pupils in achieving their National 4 qualifications internally within centres. I have a proven track record of pupils achieving excellent exam results. I am available to tutor pupils in both subjects at BGE, N4/5 and Higher levels to help them achieve their full potential.

For the first session I ask that pupils provide me with a list of areas of development and difficulty that they would like to focus on and content area they are covering within classes. If this is general support we can look at, and identify areas of development together to identify an action plan.
Sessions are usually one hour long but this can be tailored to preference. Sessions will be pupil led, focusing on areas which have initially been identified or have been identified as they continue with their course. This will include skills practice and development, understanding key concepts, and applying this to examination technique.
Online or travel to your home available, but this can be discussed prior to ensure it suits with both parties.
