About Katie
Teaching is my passion, and I love seeing my students' progress and achievements. I am patient and an active listener, believing my students can progress excellently. I understand that each student has different needs, and I work alongside my students (or their caregivers) to ensure that I know their expectations and work with them to reach their goals and, in most cases, go even further.

I have worked in a classroom for eight years and understand how to differentiate learning to support each learner's needs. I have previous experience tutoring primary-aged children in Shanghai, and I can adapt my practice to suit learners of different ages and abilities. Depending on your needs, I am happy to tutor for various lesson times. I also have plenty of academic writing experience as I complete my master's in Educational Leadership and Management within the following year. Within my educational management role, I have also had experience with proofreading and can therefore support with written practice.
