About Callum
I am a young ESL Teacher in training, currently undergoing my practicum at a comprehensive school in the community of Madrid. Originally, I am from Leeds, a city in the north of England. I have worked for several years as a Teaching Assistant in specialised settings in the UK. Now, I am in Madrid seeking new challenges, and to immerse myself in the Spanish culture and language.
Outside of teaching, I am a musician and writer, and have performed with a number of bands as both a drummer, and later a guitarist. I would describe myself as approachable, open and thorough in my approach to teaching

I have been trained to teach pupils of all ages, from A1 level, to C1. I have extensive experience in working with pupils who do not learn in conventional ways.
- I offer tailored lessons plans, adjusted to the age and ability of each pupil

- I like to use film, music and other media to help my students to engage with the target culture while learning the language
- I am a UK native, meaning that I use the same spelling and written form required for the Cambridge examination
