About Soumya

I am a first-year undergraduate student with a strong foundation in English communication, critical thinking and writing — skills that directly shape the way I teach and explain concepts to my students.
I take punctuality, consistency and student progress seriously. Every student I work with gets my full attention during the session — no distractions, no rushing. I come prepared to every class with a plan tailored to that specific student's needs and goals.
I have a strong command of written and spoken English, and my own experience of studying, writing essays and presenting in English at a university level means I know exactly what good English looks like — and how to help students get there step by step.

About the lesson

My classes are designed to be conversational, stress-free and genuinely enjoyable, because I believe the best learning happens when a student feels comfortable and confident, not pressured.
Who my classes are for:
My online English lessons are intended for school students from Class 3 to Class 10 who want to improve their everyday English whether it's grammar, writing, reading comprehension or just becoming more confident while speaking.
How a typical class looks:
Each session usually begins with a quick warm-up — a short conversation or a fun activity to get comfortable. From there we move into the main focus of the day, whether that's grammar concepts, vocabulary building, essay writing or reading practice. Every class ends with a small recap so the student knows exactly what they've learned and what to work on next.
My teaching style:
I keep things simple, relatable and interactive. I don't believe in just dictating notes, I ask questions, encourage the student to think out loud and make sure they actually understand rather than just memorise. I adapt every lesson to the student's pace, so no one is ever left behind or held back.
What makes me different:
I'm young, approachable and I genuinely remember what it felt like to struggle with English in school. That makes me more patient and more relatable than most — students find it easy to ask me "silly" questions without feeling embarrassed.
