About Nanci
Hello there! I have got a master's degree in Business and Languages (English and Spanish). I have been teaching languages to kids and teenagers for over 3 years, at home and in social centres in Marseilles. I also gave French classes to non-native speakers in a social centre. I have a proactive teaching style as I am using games, songs and debates over a topic according to the language level of the learners. Languages are 'alive' when you speak them so it is important to me that learners try to talk as much as they can. I would make sure that learners have fun learning a language, feel comfortable and enjoy it! Nanci has been working at La Ligue de l'enseignement des Bouches-du-Rhône as a tutor with elementary-school-aged children for almost 2 years.
As part of her tutoring fonction, she had to support children with school weaknesses, helping them getting more learning, writing and mathematics skills. She is confortable with new educational methods as she used to work with playful tools, such as board games.
Thanks to Nanci's support, the kids are now more confortable with school system and they are getting trought the difficulties they used to struggle with.
