About Chris

I am a native English teacher with more than five years of experience abroad in Costa Rica, South Korea, Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic. Teaching English is a full-time career for me because it is something that I really enjoy and am passionate about.

About the lesson

In my lessons I use the communicative method because I believe that natural conversation is the fastest and most effective way to learn. I try to keep my lessons lighthearted and use a lot of British humor, as learning English should always be enjoyable. This is a learning experience, not a class in a prison camp.

I've worked with Chris at two English summer schools in England and at a language academy in the Spanish Basque Country. He's a very funny, engaging and professional teacher and if I had to learn English myself I'd definitely choose him as my teacher. His lessons are never boring and are sure to put you in a good mood afterwards. He's patient, creative and encouraging and will do his absolute best to make you feel at ease at all times during the lesson.
