About Jodie
I’m a qualified primary teacher with a PGCE in Primary Education, a degree in History and a Master’s in Education. I have experience supporting children with a wide range of learning needs and understand that every child learns differently. I create individual lessons that are fun, engaging and meaningful.

My phonics sessions are designed to be engaging, relaxed and tailored to your child, helping them develop the skills they need to become confident readers.
Sessions can focus on:
Letter sounds and recognition
️ Blending sounds to read words
️ Segmenting words for spelling
Reading fluency and confidence
Tricky/common exception words
Early spelling skills
Phonics revision and consolidation
Building confidence for children who find reading challenging
I use a range of fun and age-appropriate activities to keep children engaged while reinforcing the skills they are learning at school.
Whether your child needs a little extra practice, is preparing for a phonics screening check, or simply needs some additional confidence with reading, I can provide patient, personalised support at their own pace.
My goal is simple: to help children feel confident, capable and excited about reading!
