About Bathini
I am a Music education graduate, I was part of the Cpt Opera Kids, part of the Nelson Mandela University Choir and many other choirs -
I've done many solo performances, worked with a girls' school choir in PE and two other choirs from Cape Town as their choir master, I am now working at an NPO as a music teacher doing music theory, piano and voice.
I provide online and face to face classes in my garage studio.

My name is Bathini from Cape Town.
When training or trying to teach a song you warm up the voice, explain the song or let your student go on a deeper search about the song so that they understand it before they get to sing it.
I go through the text and notes of the song and go through what is needed for the song in terms of breathing, lagato, staccato and all those other details.

Perfect! I contacted Bathini to help me with a problem. I am a bad singer! I battle to hit the right notes or hold a tune (my daughter tells me). But I love singing and wanted to see if I can fix this. Can you help me? I asked. She is patient and amazing. We meet in person at her studio in Woodstock Cape Town, or online and I am learning how to open my voice, breathe, find the rhythm and FEEL the song. This is so exciting. She is also, of course, an advanced singing teacher but is amazing with basics and very patient. Most of all the lessons are soulful and FUN.
- Sarah is one lovely lady. I enjoy her energy and enthusiasm and I love how she is open to learning and I highly appreciate the banter. Class is fun with Sarah (I was hoping that that would rhyme).Bathini's response :
