I am a CELTA trained English language teacher. Currently, I work as an Early Childhood Educator. I have an undergraduate and post graduate degree in English. My communications skills are excellent having worked in in varied industries such as advertising, journalism and retail banking.

My teaching methodology is communicative and collaborative. My approach is to create relevant and interesting lessons to engage my students to help them learn the language to the best of their ability. In my opinion,English language learning should not be just about grammar and rules. My lessons invariably begin with a series of pictures or a set of questions (eg what did you do on the weekend or how did you get to class today) to get the students talking. We would then read a few lines or listen to conversation based on the what happened in the past ( The aim of the lesson is for the students to understand the past tense). Then students would attempt a task based on the what they read or heard.(This would help to cement their understanding of the past tense). I would end the lesson by playing a game based on the past tense ensuring all the students got involved.
