About Thea
Hi! I’m just about to finish my degree in Business Management and International Relations, and I’m on track to graduate with a 2:1. This September, I’ll be starting teacher training to become a Primary School Teacher, specialising in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I’m passionate about creating inclusive, supportive learning environments where every child can thrive. I have experience volunteering in education and community settings, including supporting children with learning difficulties and working with families. These experiences have deepened my love for teaching and my belief in the power of one-to-one support. I’m friendly, patient, and committed to helping children build confidence in their abilities. I believe learning should be enjoyable and adapted to suit each child’s individual needs and pace.

My lessons are friendly, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs and learning style. I focus on building confidence and making learning enjoyable, whether we’re working on reading, writing, comprehension, or subject-specific skills. I use interactive methods, encourage lots of questions, and always create a safe, supportive space where children feel comfortable learning at their own pace. Sessions are delivered online and can cover English (Literature & Language), Business Studies, and Psychology. While I specialise in tutoring primary-aged children, I’m happy to support older students too. Each session is planned with care to suit your child’s goals – whether it’s extra help with schoolwork, preparing for SATs or exams, or just boosting general understanding.
