About Laaiqah
Hi! I’m a third-year B.Ed Intermediate phase student at STADIO, passionate about teaching and helping learners succeed. I teach English, Afrikaans, and Natural Sciences to Grades 4–8, and my lessons are designed to be fun, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s needs. I know all the little tricks that happen in the classroom… but don’t worry, your secrets are safe with me! (Just kidding) I’m definitely not the teacher who starts the first day with, “We’re already behind on the syllabus.” I like to make learning enjoyable, relaxed, and engaging, while still ensuring students understand the material and improve their skills. My approach focuses on building confidence, motivation, and curiosity. If you don’t know something, I won’t shout — I’ll patiently explain where things went wrong and guide you to the right answer. I can even act as a “personal therapist,” but it comes with a price: working hard, achieving excellent marks, and making yourself and your parents proud. Outside of teaching, you will find me baking, watching series, driving, and listening to music, and I bring that energy into my lessons to make learning relatable and fun. I am committed to helping learners grow academically and personally, and I can’t wait to make every lesson enjoyable and productive for you.

I am a passionate and patient future teacher who genuinely loves working with children and helping them grow, both academically and personally. I believe teaching is not only about books and marks, but also about helping learners build confidence, discipline, and life skills through every lesson. With my TEFA certification and hands-on classroom experience, I focus on not just academics, but also confidence-building, motivation, and life skills.
My lessons are interactive, encouraging, and adapted to each learner’s pace and learning style. I focus on making concepts easy to understand by using clear explanations, examples, and fun activities where possible. Learners are supported in asking questions, making mistakes, and improving without fear of judgment.
I am able to teach in English and offer tutoring in English, Afrikaans, and Natural Sciences. Lessons include homework support, exam preparation, revision, and concept building to strengthen understanding and performance at school.
I tutor learners in Grades 4 to 8 and work especially well with students who need extra guidance, confidence-building, or a more patient and structured learning environment. Each lesson is designed to motivate, encourage progress, and help learners believe in their ability to succeed.
