About Kyanne
My name is Kyanne and I love reading! I have my own book club and often write poetry and short stories (I have been nationally and internationally recognised for the latter). I hope to transfer my love for English onto students as I truly believe that everyone can find an aspect of the subject that they can enjoy. My nature as an avid reader means that I am particularly strong at analysing literature. Additionally, my own experience as a student makes me feel confident that I can both help students to learn and create an enjoyable atmosphere!

My lessons are generally between 30 minutes to an hour long. I begin with a short independent task and then go through it with the student before moving on to what they want to work on specifically. Through a mix of independent work and discussion, we complete the task. I normally set a short follow up task in between sessions just so that learning is consolidated.
I am a registered English coach on UPchieve and have been active on there for approximately a year. For the past two years, I have also taught and mentored secondary school students in English Literature and Language. My lessons are primarily for those aged 12+
