About Soham Vishal
My name is Soham Vishal, and I am currently studying Law with Business at Queen Mary University of London. Having completed IB English Literature HL, I developed a strong understanding of critical analysis, essay structure, and academic writing, skills that are essential for success in English examinations.
I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in their ideas and express them clearly and effectively. During my time in school, I supported classmates with their coursework and exam preparation, which showed me how much the right guidance can improve both grades and self-belief.
As a tutor, I aim to be patient, structured, and encouraging. I understand the pressure students face during GCSE and IB years, and I am committed to providing professional, focused support to help them reach their full potential.

I take a structured and exam-focused approach to English Literature tutoring, helping students strengthen essay writing, critical analysis, and exam technique. As a QMUL Law student who completed IB English Literature HL, I understand what examiners look for in high-scoring responses.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are tailored to the student’s needs, whether that’s improving textual analysis, mastering essay structure, or practising timed responses. I break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and provide practical feedback to help students improve quickly.
Having supported classmates during school, I understand common challenges students face and focus on building both confidence and clarity. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and IB students aiming to boost their grades and strengthen their academic writing skills.
