About Kirsty
I am a gap year student having just finished my A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology at the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle. I achieved ABB in my A-Levels and five Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and two Grade 7s at GCSE. I am applying to study Chemistry at university and I plan to go into secondary education. I have chosen to be a tutor in my year out as I am keen to help students achieve the highest grades they can in their GCSEs to best set them up for their next steps.

My lessons are exciting and engaging. My key focus is to make students enjoy learning by teaching through fun activities and encouraging creativity. As I finished my GCSEs just two years ago, I have a great understanding of the issues my students may be facing with their studies, and I am very familiar with the current specifications. I know very well how to revise, and I help my students to find the most effective revision methods for them.
