My name is Chris, I'm 21 and I am studying Medical Pharmacology at Swansea University. With As in A-Level Biology and Chemistry and a grade 9s in my GCSEs, I have consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of the subjects and have successfully navigated through rigorous academic challenges, acquiring an in-depth knowledge of key concepts, and developing effective study strategies along the way. My academic achievements reflect not only my commitment to excellence but also my passion for biology. I am deeply fascinated by the intricacies of life and love sharing that enthusiasm with my students. I firmly believe that a genuine interest in the subject creates an engaging learning environment and paves the way for success. Beyond my academic accomplishments, I am dedicated to the craft of teaching. I understand the importance of nurturing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where students can thrive. I believe in fostering a deep understanding of the subject by employing effective techniques and a student-centred teaching methodology. In my classes, I strive to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. I utilise a combination of visual aids, real-life examples, and analogies to help students grasp complex biological concepts with ease. I encourage active participation, asking thought-provoking questions, and promoting critical thinking skills. My aim is to inspire curiosity and a love for biology in each of my students. Typically, my lessons run for approximately one hour, allowing ample time for comprehensive coverage of topics and addressing any questions or concerns, however, I'm more than happy to adjust timings based on student needs. I understand the importance of individualised attention, so I tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. As a medical pharmacology student, I have a deep understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, I'm fresh out of A-levels and have a superb knowledge of the best proven techniques to achieve a top grade. My lessons cater to students at GCSE but I can also tutor A-levels, providing support and guidance to those preparing for their exams. Whether you are a teenager eager to excel in your studies or an adult seeking to expand your knowledge, my lessons are designed to meet your specific learning goals.
