About Aayan
English was never my strong suit. While speaking and writing basic English is a skill, GCSE English is something that is completely different. I had to understand the difference between everyday English and English for GCSE. I used a key set of skills in both revision and in my exams in order to achieve a grade 9 in English Literature and English Language. I also developed a key set of revision methods that I found useful, as English is a unique subject these revision methods were something that were extremely English specific.

Teaching style will consist of first developing an understanding of skills in a particular topic. If skill set in the respective topic is strong, I will focus on challenging them with harder exam-style questions. If skill set is lacking, I will focus on deconstructing the problem and building their ability. The lessons will be for anyone currently studying GCSE English Language and Literature, lessons will either be an hour long or half an hour long depending on student needs. I achieved a grade 9 for both English Literature and Language at GCSE. Lessons will focus on key skills needed for both subjects along with revision skills.
